Intech — OpenCart Ecommerce Development

Project scope

We developed an OpenCart store for Intech. The work covered specifications, prototyping, design, frontend development and implementation. Beyond the storefront, the project needed dedicated product variation functionality and supplier-specific exchange rates.

Product variations

We developed a Product Variations extension. It makes the selection of a product modification a distinct part of the catalogue journey, allowing variants to be handled within the agreed product structure. This custom module was a separate part of the OpenCart implementation.

Multicurrency administration

We built a multicurrency extension for the administration panel. Its specific requirement was using different exchange rates for different suppliers. The work therefore included specialised data management tools alongside the customer-facing store.

Preparing the store for publication

The project included partial product entry, readable URL configuration, structured data, HTTPS and hosting deployment. These tasks established the technical foundation of the published store.
